September) plus one week in low season.
Once all the families (shareholders) have picked their first allocation the list is re-circulated this time in
reverse order allowing families to pick their final off-peak week(s).
Family names are moved up the list three places each year, or they start again from lower down according to location at the time.
|Priority for school holidays||There are no special arrangements for those requiring school holidays although syndicate members normally give them consideration when arranging exchanges of "School holiday" weeks.|

General Comments by vendor
Empire was originally managed through a third-party management company. For the past five years the boat has been efficiently run by a committee of four plus a boat engineer who is also a member of the syndicate. An AGM is held every year in March.
The actual running costs for Empire are generally far less than the £12,000 collected by the Treasurer and the balance/fund is held in the Empire bank account. Under the terms of the Empire Charter this fund is non-returnable to owners who wish to sell their share as the fund is listed as an Empire asset and has to be taken into account when agreeing the sale price. The syndicate has found that having a healthy bank balance removes the stresses and strain when addressing unexpected service issues.
Empire’s bank account is in a very healthy position (which is not reflected in the price of this share) So, the purchaser of this share is buying into a privately run syndicate and very well-funded boat. I will provide full details on enquiry.
